Ribbon Trim Roman Shades

Adding ribbon or a decorative trim is a simple way to give custom roman shades a more personalized, designer look. Whether you prefer a subtle accent or a bold statement, trim can highlight the shape of the shade, coordinated with other fabrics in the room, and add color, texture or contrast. Many of our roman shades are made using our provided grosgrain ribbon, which we supply in many colors. The standard is 1 1/2” width, but we also have some other options for sizes. The grosgrain can be applied anyway you’d like! Our standard method is the grosgrain inset on the sides and bottom. It is inset about 1 1/2” from the edge. We can also make the with just ribbon along the edges of the sides and bottom, ribbon only along the sides, ribbon only along the bottom, or ribbon along the sides, bottom AND top! Many times, we also make shades with ribbon down the middle or double ribbon (2 sizes) around the edges. There are many options and it’s fully customizable!
