Sew Lovely's Appearance On NBC's "George To The Rescue"

I was super excited to be a part of another fun TV show experience earlier this year! I was contacted by the host and producers of NBC’s “George To The Rescue,” to collaborate and provide some of the custom soft furnishings for an episode that aired on April 26th on NBC. I have worked with the guest designer host on the show, Noel Gatts of the design firm, Beam & Bloom in Bloomfield, NJ, in the past and she’s so great to work with! She’s not only talented, but also a very sweet person, outgoing and a joy to collaborate with! So, when she told me all about this project, I said yes right away!

The show was very touching and a nice story. We helped transform an old basement into a colorful, joy-filled play space for Trey- a brave childhood cancer warrior, by providing custom made cushions and pillows. We made one large cushion with piping for a super cute reading nook under the stairs, and then a few throw pillows and floor cushions. Trey was overjoyed when he saw his new play area and the whole family seemed very appreciative. I was so happy to be a part of this!

The crew filmed for the entire week, but I went there twice (once to drop off the items and then again for the reveal day). I was spotted on TV a few times and my company name also appeared in the credits at the end, which was very nice!

This was my second TV appearance for Sew Lovely! I’m looking forward to possibly some more in the future!
