Sew Lovely By Kelly 59 Hillside Crescent Nutley, NJ 07110 Effective beginning Oct 2018 Purchase Agreement/ Terms of Transaction For All Sew Lovely By Kelly Products By signing this purchase agreement, effective as of October 2023, you acknowledge and agree to the following: You will pay the agreed upon purchase price prior to the goods being sent. You read the details of our final correspondence with the project details and agree everything I typed is correct based on that final communication. I work based off this final information. The same information and details will be found in your paid invoice that I will email you once paid. NO refunds or exchanges will be given for custom goods. If a fix is necessary, Sew Lovely will fix free of charge. Since our products are custom, we cannot provide refunds or exchanges. Cancellations must be made within 48 hours of purchase. If you choose to swap and send us a different fabric than originally sent, you may do so up to about 3 weeks before the due date. If you want to update your measurements from the original quote, please let us know you are making an update. You usually have until at least 5 weeks after ordering to update the measurements. Carefully read the information we email you regarding your measurements, including width and length etc. We recommend deducting 1/4" off exact width for inside mount shades and giving us that dimension. We do not add or subtract anything from the exact size you give us (this applies to inside and outside mounted shades). Your shade will be the exact size you give us. On rare occasions, during production, we might need more fabric to complete the project. The buyer will be responsible for buying and sending more fabric. If your fabric is not labelled with your name on it, your order may be delayed. Please label fabric correctly when sending. You’ve read the “Fabric Choice” page clearly and understand the disadvantages of using fabric that is not recommended by us and that it can affect your end product if the wrong fabric is sent. Some 100% linen fabrics do not work well for roman shades, as the fabric is hard to sew straight, shifts when hung and doesn't pleat as nicely. Velvet, silks, heavy wovens and some others do not work well for our roman shades. Please read fabric recommendations. If you send fabric that is not recommended for shades as per our website, we cannot make a free fix and no exceptions for refunds. If a vendor sends us a fabric that is damaged, you will be informed and that vendor will need to be responsible for replacing the fabric. You will need to contact the vendor to handle the situation and replace your fabric. Sew Lovely won’t be held responsible for damaged fabric. We sew the shade with the fabric the way it is off the bolt, selvage to selvage (left to right). We do not rotate the fabric unless a buyer informs us to do it that way. You understand the delivery time is usually 8 weeks from time of purchase and could be longer, depending on our production schedule, if your fabric is delayed, or if the order is large. We do not guarantee an exact delivery date. We try to be at the 8 week mark or shorter, but there is a chance it can be longer. We will communicate with you if there is a delay and try our best to be right on time. No refunds will be give for delayed orders. We're a team of 2 and try our best to get the orders out in a timely manner. We cannot guarantee that Sew Lovely Roman shades are not 100% child proof. It is recommended to tie off all cords high on a cleat if young children or pets are around to prevent strangulation. You may wish to get cordless shades if your windows are very low. Shipping is normally UPS Ground. All packages are insured for the labor and lining costs but NOT for the fabric cost. The insurance policy we buy will only cover the cost of the item that was paid to us, and not the fabric (if you supplied the fabric). Fabric remnants will not be returned. The amount of yardage we tell you to send us is the exact amount of yardage that we need to complete your project, so we rarely have remnants. Relaxed roman shades need to be manually dressed/adjusted for the pleats to lay nicely. You understand how the roman shades function using a cord lock and each cord controls a different part of the shade. If your folds happen to not be laying perfectly straight across when you pull all cords at once, try adjusting with each individual cord and then locking off and this will solve the issue. Cordless roman shades are best for inside mount shades. They have a 1 1/2" projection, so for outside mount they would project more than corded shades. Relaxed shades let more light escape on the sides when pulled up than flat, classic shades. Since fabric is not completely flush with the glass for outside mounted shades, some light may escape from the sides (also pertains to blackout shades) For ultimate blackout, an inside mounted blackout roller shade may be needed. If you happen to see a staple on the top of the wood, you understand that this will not ever be seen if properly installed. Sew Lovely will never put a staple on the shade where it would be seen. 2 staples are used on the very top of the board as extra support so the fabric doesn't sag on the very top. These staples are not seen. If you're seeing it on the front of the shade then the shade is not installed correctly. If your package is ruined during shipment, please let us know right away so we can file an insurance complaint with USPS. If you have any issue at all with your product, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it asap. Fixes are performed very quickly if one is needed. If purchasing a custom listing through ETSY, you are acknowledging that all the information on the custom listing is correct, unless we are clearly notified of an update to the details (measurement etc.) We go by the information on the listing for the final measurement unless we're told the listing is incorrect and to adjust. You're also agreeing to having seen several of the photos on our website, including many close up shots, so you are aware of how the roman shades will be sewn/constructed and look when the shades are up and down.
